Open tryouts for our competitive futsal teams are complete!

Competitive Futsal Program

Charlotte Soccer Academy, as part of our Futsal Program, will form 10 competitive futsal teams to train and compete from October 2024 to February 2025. Teams will be formed following mandatory tryouts. This program offers the highest level of futsal training with a focus on competition.

Tryouts are open to all players. However, if a player is currently registered as a competitive player with a club other than CSA, that is affiliated with NCYSA or SCYSA, written permission must be obtained from the coach and DOC. Emails may be sent to [email protected].

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Season: October through February
Team Training Information:
Approximately 30 hours of training October 18 through February working around the CSA soccer schedule. 1x weekly in October and November; 2x weekly in December and January; 1x weekly in February.
U8, U9, U10 Training Days: Sundays October-February plus Fridays in December and Mondays in January.
U11 and U12 Training Days: Fridays October-February plus Sundays in December and Mondays in January.
Competitive Events: Teams will compete in F5 League and USYF Regionals or one other local event. Additional events, at an additional cost, to be determined.
Program Fee: $720.
Program fee includes all training, participation in the F5 league (Saturdays in Rock Hill Nov-Jan), and one tournament (USYF Regionals in Charlotte/Rock Hill Jan 17-20 or alternative tournament if team is not available)
A commitment fee of $270 due at registration. A payment plan is available for the balance.
The commitment fee of $270 is non-refundable. Upon commitment to the team, you are financially responsible for the full fee of $720. Refunds due to injury or relocation may be eligible for a refund or credit with the amount to be determined on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be submitted to Mary Rea, Futsal Director.

Players will wear CSA competitive uniform.

CSA will form Competitive Futsal Teams in the following age divisions:

• Boys U8 (Birth years 2017/18)
• Boys U9 (Birth year 2016)
• Boys U10 (Birth year 2015)
• Boys U11 (Birth year 2014)
• Boys U12 (Birth year 2013)

• Girls U8 (Birth years 2017/18)
• Girls U9 (Birth year 2016)
• Girls U10 (Birth year 2015)
• Girls U11 (Birth year 2014)
• Girls U12 (Birth year 2013)
